London Zoo is irresistible for children but a treat for all. The
36 acre zoo has a strong conservation ethic and is working
hard toward transforming the captive animal emphasis of old
fashioned zoos. There are daily events and programs,
including feeding time, "Animals in Action" and the Children's
Zoo, where kids can handle docile animals. The "Web of Life"
feature in the Millennium Conservation Centre explains how
fife forms relate to one another. The spectacular Showdown
Aviary is a highlight, as is the Penguin PoolAith its spiral
ramp.
